When you're in love...

Recipe haphazardly thrown together by me :D Measurements are approximate as hell; I don't measure at all.

2/3 c brown sugar -- I prefer light
1/3 c pineapple juice, or crushed pineapple
1/4 c orange juice
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp lime juice (can substitute lemon, I just prefer the flavor of lime and I had it on hand)
Dash ground cloves; be sparing, it's really easy to overpower this with cloves

Mix all together in a saucepan. Cook over low heat until simmering, and simmer for 7ish minutes, or until it's as thick as you'd like. Use half of the glaze to cover ham 30 minutes before removing from oven, and the other half upon removal from the oven. Let ham sit 10 minutes before serving.

Notes; this is a nice, sweet, citrusy glaze that I looove. Note that the cloves and lime juice are both VERY important to the flavor; my brother and I agree that this glaze IS a bit "shallow", flavor-wise (there's not much beyond sweeeeet), and could benefit from a little more depth. The cloves add a spiciness it needs, and the lime juice adds a citrus zing that breaks up the solid sweetness. Still, more depth can be achieved either through the natural saltiness of the ham, or more lime juice. I was very light-handed on the lime juice, I'm kinda a pussy :I.
